The Electrify Allegheny Program is providing free site assessments, EV consulting services, and grant writing support to more than 15 governments, authorities, and community groups for free. Through this program, CONNECT & partners are helping communities move forward with these projects and provide amenities to the public.

Electrify Allegheny
Electrify Allegheny is a partnership with Duquesne Light Company and Pittsburgh Region Clean Cities that provides free assistance for our member governments and community groups to transition fleet vehicles and provide charging opportunities. Register for our upcoming event on December 5.
Goals of the program are to:
- Determine feasibility of EV charging (both private & public) in chosen locations within participating communities
- Analyze municipal fleets to determine viable alternative fuel replacement options over time
- Provide comprehensive technical assistance, from site walkthroughs & financial analysis to funding assistance for participants
- Create & explore powerful group opportunities for installing electric charging, including multi-municipal grant applications.
